When Lonely Days Turn to Lonely Nights...

Martin Freemsn September 30, 2019

…take a walk through the city lights.

Nocturnal city scapes must be one of my favorite subjects to create. So many opportunities for exploring texture and contrast between the light and the darkness. One area can be as bright as the midday sky yet unaware of midnight lurking beyond the corner...but the story is in the shadows. So much hidden, out of focus. The city at night, with all of her contrasting beauty, is comfort and madness. Safety and risk. A mysterious black and white yin and yang.
